Allegations are surfacing that Donald Trump paid actors $50 (in cash, no need to report to the IRS) to act as supporters at his Presidential announcement on Tuesday.

That should be a red flag that you may not be too popular with the electorate when you can't even gather a crowd of interested voters for your initial announcement.

What is Trump's strategy then in this election? Hand out gift cards before we enter the voting booth?!

(Mr. T, $500 to Neiman Marcus & you've got a deal shh...)

One of my teachers described the candidates of the early part of the 2008 election season as never seeing "a bigger group of ...characters." Given that Donald Trump has today officially entered the race, this statement is as valid today as it was at the end of the Bush Administration.

Presidential elections seem to become more unbelievable, hilarious, and Hollywood-inspired with each race for the Oval Office. This race is shaping up to follow suit and keep us well entertained though next November.

After all, its not the best candidate who wins, its the best dressed first spouse.
